Are you being patient with your voice and your practice, or are you striving to do it all at once?

Your voice will reward you the most when you build on your strengths and nurture your weaknesses.
Pushing notes hard and forcing the voice will do little to improve your vocal skills, tonal quality, or the range of your voice.
Rather, by teaching the vocal cords to respond to such brute force will only further hinder the long term improvement you are looking for as a singer.

“Light And Easy” not Strong and Squeezy”! This is my motto!

By teaching the voice to respond at this level, you will go a long way to help the power of notes to grow with skill.
As you gradually learn to use your diaphragm breathing to its fullest advantage, remembering that air and muscle are always even, then you can practise singing notes and gradually increase the volume.

I have recorded a wonderful exercise on Track 6, called “head Voice” technique, which works really well when trying to grasp this concept. The results you get when you constantly practice this scale will really surprise you.

Till next week,
Happy singing
